MERCIER THERAPY & FERTILITY SUPPORT

A gentle and natural way to help support your reproductive and gynovisceral health using all natural modalities. During your consultatation & treatment, we combine health history and assessment with Remedial Massage techniques + Mercier Therapy to offer a non-invasive and effective approach to ease pelvic pain and discomfort associated with various gynaecological issues such as endometriosis, PCOS, and infertility. For the best results we generally recommend a series of treatments, which can either be scheduled once or twice a week as recommended. However this is a personalised approach and once you have consulted with a therapist during an initial consultation we will be able to give our recommendation on how Mercier Therapy can best help you!

WHAT IS MERCIER THERAPY?

Mercier Therapy is a soft tissue visceral manipulation technique used on the abdomen to help restore mobility and function of the reproductive organs and surrounding structures. Our Mercier therapist, Stephanie, is also qualified in Remedial Massage and has a thorough understanding of anatomy, biology, pregnancy and soft tissue complaints so you can be assured you are in very capable and knowledgable hands.

WHO CAN BENEFIT?

Women experiencing any of the following can benefit from receiving Mercier Therapy:

• Pelvic Pain

• Endometriosis

• PCOS

• Birth or sexual trauma

• Gynaecological issues

• Infertility

You cannot receive Mercier Therapy if you have any of the following:

• Active pelvic infection

• IUD implant

• Any cancer cells present

IS THERE AN IDEAL TIME TO BEGIN TREATMENT?

The ideal time to begin your Mercier Therapy treatment is from when your menstruation has ceased, and up until ovulation. This is typically from days 4-14 of your cycle. It is still ok to receive treatment on the other days of your cycle, however the lower abdomen will be avoided during your menstruation days, particularly if you have been diagnosed with endometriosis.
